Water Systems Designer Engineer
We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our engineering team as Water Systems Designer Engineer.
Ideal candidate would possess:
- 5-7 years experience with water filtration equipment (media filters and separators). Direct cooling tower treatment experience preferred
- Water treatment instrumentation and controls experience
- HVAC system experience with cooling towers, chillers, fluid coolers, evaporative condensers, plate and frame and shell and tube heat exchangers
- Strong water treatment background, with respect to both filtration and chemical treatment for scale prevention, biological control and corrosion protection
- HVAC controls and BAS experience a plus
- Experience with small water treatment package engineering. Component selection and sizing experience. Ability to create and review existing system P&ID and GA drawings
- System commissioning and service experience
- Project management / engineering (<$100,000) experience preferred
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering with experience in water filtration equipment and project management
- P.Eng. designation
- Demonstrated leadership abilities to develop collaboration, seek integrative solutions, and establish effective communication processes
- Knowledge and experience in budgeting, contract management, contract documents, specifications, project and financial management, and project scheduling
- Strong computer skills
